Father’s-an understated role at times but usually an incredibly influential force that holds heavy weight in our lives.
If we are fortunate to have a good Father, they are our first and fiercest protector who will take any blow, any pain, or any risk to keep us safe. They are that steady instructor throughout our lives that refuses to let us settle for being less than our best. They are that consistent face in the stands cheering us on and proud of us despite having seen our life’s best and worst “plays”. They are that forever coach knowing just what to say to get us to pull up reserves we didn’t know we had in the most crucial plays of our lives. They are that solid guide who will push us back onto the straight and narrow when we steer ourselves off course, and they are that forever loud voice in our corner believing in us when even ourselves or no one else does. If you’re blessed with one of these kinds of Father’s, or married or partnered to one, don’t let this Father’s Day go by without giving them the honor they deserve. It’s not everyday we’re blessed to have someone in our corner like this, or in our kid’s corner, so be sure to pile on that love and honor to that special Father this upcoming Father’s Day.
